Tagajo City

Location Tagajo City is the east of Sendai-city. Tagajo is not so famous as Sendai. When we are asked about the home town we answer "from Sendai". The Sea Tagajo City faces the gulf of Sendai. It is very near to the sea. It takes about 20 minutes to the port of Shiogama by car. At the port of Shiogama we can get many kind of good fish very cheep. In summer we can go to the sea shore in 20 minutes by car. It's very convenient place to something . There's Sendai -Shinko near ,and young people enjoy surfing. Neighborhood I feel every day Tagajo city is very historical. There is a family who has lived here for 700 years,and other families have lived for several hundred years. We can see very old historical stones,big (pine)trees here. In Tagajyo City there are many kind of people,that is the farmers who have the old ancestors, the salaried men who go to Sendai and people who work at the factories near Sendai-shinko. Winter We can enjoy skiing very much in winter. We can go to the famous Mt.Zao in 2 hours by car, and in an hour we can go to Izumigatake,spring-valley,and Saint-Merry skiing place. More many swans visit Kasenuma,and Nanakita River during winter. It is very wonderful and beautiful.
