It is well known to all golf lovers that the timing and
rhythm of a swing are essential factors in playing the game.

Experts are well aware that to teach individual players of proper
timing is very difficult. Moreover,for one who is unable to learn
directly from an instructor,it is impossible to find and master
the timing suitable to oneself.

The golf stroke has a rhyth,. This is not only the rhythm in the
motion but it is in the flexibility of the golf club and the movement
of the body. Rhythm too,is something that one can not learn easily
from books nor instructors.

To overcome these problems,the apparatus described here was
invented with the following objectives:
1. To allow the player to easily learn his own accurate timing.
2. To enable the golfer to audiovisually learn the steps of the
cycle of motion involved: the preparatory movement before
upswing,initiation of upswing,topswing,downswing,impact and the
follow-through.
The golfer can actually swing his club with the timing
determined by the apparatus.
3. To allow the golfer to master the timing for effective
flexing of the club at topswing, thereby causing the club to give
an explosion enargy at the moment of impact.
4. To permit minute time adjustments to suit the individual style.

The apparatus consists of a pointer rotating at a constant tempo
in one direction and an indicator registered with the pointer at
a set position and moving in the same direction as the pointer.
Upon reaching the set position, the indicator moves in the opposite
direction to the pointer and at a higher speed than the pointer
until it returns to the previously registered position.
The pointer's movement is easily seen as it is positioned on the face
of the gadget and it emits sounds that enable the golfer to practice
through auditory means as well.
