I introduce my EpConcept. EpConcept is a famous Electric Powered RC Helicopter
that Kyosho Corporation developed.
I purchased this with mail order shopping.It was 78, 000 yen (fixed price
122, 000 yen) with Japanese Yen. At that time, as for this body the flight
in 3 or 4 minutes was possible. The malfunction of a gyrocompass occurred
after purchase. Also, the power of a motor decreased. Even the trouble
that a connector has melted occurred. By these troubles I became a slump.
About 3 years passed after purchasing. A various device was done. And,
I have come to be able to comprehend a few of the character of an Electric
Powered RC Helicopter. Please see present my EP-Concept.

Motor
A motor is using TAMIYA DYNATECH02H. It is used well to as power sauce
of an Electric Powered RC Airplane and an Electric Powered RC Helicopter
in Japan.
This motor is fitting very good Ep-Concept. This is able to purchase with
the price of 4800 or less yen.
The combination between 9.6V (8Cell) NICD battery and 15T or 16T pinion
are good.
I am using an adjustment angle of a motor with 0 degree.
I am using the position of a brush spring with a medium.
A red fin that is reflected to a photograph is the fin for radiation. (EagleRacing:

It is necessities especially in summer.
Connector
A good connector not generate also after powerful flight.
And, a good connector the one that contact resistance is structure without
increasing even if use it how many times is good.
I am using 2 pole connectors that enter to a hand easily in an automotive
parts store.
This connector is used for the fog lamp of an automobile. The rating of
this connector is said to be 20A.However, it hardly generate even if a
continuation current of 40A is poured to this. I think that performance
is very good probably.
E. S. C.
It is pure and FUTABA MC114H used be. A radiation board is necessary,
in the case that MC114H is used. If it does not attach it an amplifier
has decreased power by the function of a protection circuit. Especially
as for in summer the possibility goes up. E. S. C. of NOVAK for RC car
is used well in an Electric Powered RC Helicopter. There are HAMMER PRO
or TEMPEST or a various grade. I am using "TEMPEST HYPERFET2 PRO" of NOVAK.This
is corresponding to the battery of 10Cell.On resistance is 1.167 m ohm.The
affinity with Jairo that next I introduce, because the output of BEC circuit
is 6V5A is good.
Jairo (Special technique)
This is Active Steering Sensor for RC Model Car (Kyosho Corporation).
The fixed price of this part is expensive. However, it is being sold 6000
or less yen in a famous RC shop in Japan.
A piezoelectricity vibration child is used by the heart of this.Therefore,
it is difficult to damage it even if it crashes.
Yet, pay attention to the following point.
Point 1
The power supply voltage is necessary over 6V. When the voltage of a battery
decreased the control of a ladder becomes unstable.Because E. S. C. of
Novak is 6V output needing not to make the outside power supply it is able
to use it as it is.
Point 2
A ladder signal becomes the size of about 2 times and be output. Therefore
ATV setting is not able to use when it is not the Proportional that was
controlled by the computer that is produced. I am using FF8H of FUTABA
for a Proportional.
This main rotor made of JRC company. We can buy it at
ASAMI
in Akiba field Tokyo Japan.
This takes the trouble of strengthening Ep-Concept power.
As for this rotor the plane of a grip department may be inaccurate.
The case is difficult to combine a tracking.
This problem is annulled when a grip department is shaved in parallel.
The method of a repair is as follows.
It attaches it to a vise by using both sides tape (No. 800 about) a sandpaper.
Next, a grip department of a rotor is put lightly there.
When a rotor is moved right and left lightly a grip department is able
to shave in parallel.
This is an ultra small size electromotion fan that purchased it with a
junk shop.
This is being used to cool the CPU of a personal computer.
A motor and E. S. C can be cooled during flight. And, it is able to cool
it quickly even after flight.
It is very convenient because it is decided with On/Off with switch one.
In this way, it is possible fly in 10 minutes after flight.
Rating power supply voltage of this is 5V. However, I am using 9.6V.
As for Ep-Concept the looseness of a tail pitch slider is big.
This looseness it is nonexistent the idea of ‚· for it various be.
The method that I am carrying out is this. (Photograph reference)
The pipe made of brass is fixed to tail pitch lever (EH-49) with a thread.
And, it strengthens with glue from the top.This method makes a looseness
to 1/3 or less. And, flight performance stabilizes by this. (Ladder)
Mixing lever (EH-10) of Ep-concept are soft. Thereupon, I exchanged a mixing lever to EH-202. A mixing lever became very hard.
This is a tail lamp that used bright LED. The power supply uses the output
(6V) of BEC.
This shines in the evening very brightly.
This is a room lamp for the night flight.
This is the thing that attached a clip to a halogen electric bulb of 12V10W
for an automobile.It is lighted during flight when a clip is connected
to the electrode of a motor.
It is a special part that even 2 minutes can extend the flying hours of
Ep-Concept.
This is the one that shaved a board material of the thickness of about
10 mm to a wing form. This extended hovering time in "8 minutes 10 seconds".
The flying hours in time that removed this part are about 6 minutes.
